William Devane to Host 'VSA Arts' Event at Kennedy Center

On Friday, September 28th, 2008 actor William Devane will be hosting this year's Kennedy Center Event VSA Arts: Playwright Discovery Evening.

Through this program, celebrating 25 years, one script is selected from hundreds of submissions and is professionally produced, headlining an evening at the Kennedy Center. This event also showcases poetry from VSA arts' literary programs.

This year's event features the world premiere of The Other Room, an outstanding play by 17-year-old Ariadne Baker-Dunn about a teenage boy with autism. Recommended for ages 12 and up.

A Dessert Reception in the Atrium follows the performance.
