Theatreworks USA to Bring FLY GUY & OTHER STORIES to The Alden in McLean, 2/22
Children will delight to see many of the characters from juvenile fiction books "live and in person" when The Alden in McLean's McLean Kids Series continues with "Fly Guy & Other Stories" on Sunday, Feb. 22, at 2 p.m.Tickets are $15 for the general public and $10 for McLean tax district residents. The Alden is located inside the McLean Community Center, at 1234 Ingleside Avenue.
Seven delightful stories will come to life in this musical revue. Stories featured in the show include: "Fly Guy Meets Fly Girl" by Tedd Arnold; "Diary of a Worm" by Doreen Cronin and Harry Bliss; "Fluffy the Classroom Guinea Pig," based on "Fluffy's Silly Summer" by Kate McMullan; "Horace & Morris but Mostly Dolores" by James Howe; "Kitten's First Full Moon" and "Lilly's Big Day" by Kevin Henkes; and "Paper Bag Princess" by Robert Munsch. This 60-minute musical is recommended for ages 4 and older.
