Tasty Monster Productions Launches With PERSONALS, 3/16 & 17

Tasty Monster Productions, a new theater company "dedicated to the production of cutting edge original and re-envisioned theatrical and musical works for new audiences," today announced its inaugural production Personals: A Love Story for the Rest of Us (by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.)  featuring Heather Bagnall Scheeler and Luke Tudball, as well as the musical talents of Musical Director Mike Noonan and the award winning musical trio the Unified Jazz Ensemble.

Presented at Adventure Theatre in Glen Echo Park, Personals is described as "a comedic musical romp through the crazy world of internet dating and personals ads.   Written by David Crane, Seth Friedman and Marta Kauffman - the writers of the hit TV show, Friends - this heartwarming journey through the trials, tribulations, and sometime successes of the dating world is a must for anyone who has ever taken a second look at life and wondered what might have been. Music by Stephen Schwartz, Alan Menken, William K. Dreskin, Joel Phillip Friedman, Seth Friedman, and Michael Skloff."

Still in the works for the company this season, an original cabaret entitled “Coming Home” and an original one woman show entitled “SingleMarriedGirl”, an entry in the DC Capital Fringe Festival starring Tasty Monster Co-Founding Artistic Director Heather Bagnall Scheeler.

Join Tasty Monster Productions for their inaugural foray presented by special arrangement with Samuel French Inc. and in collaboration with the fabulous Unified Jazz Ensemble.  Cast includes Heather Bagnall Scheeler, Jenny Donovan, Stephen Hoch, Kristen Jepperson, Ken Kemp, and Luke Tudball.

Personals runs Friday and Saturday, March 16 & 17, 6:30 & 8:30 pm at Adventure Theatre, 7300 MacArthur Blvd, Glen Echo, MD 20812.   Tickets are $15 for children ages 4-12 and $21 for adults.     For tickets visit www.facebook.com/tastymonster.
