Special Agent Galactic and her Boys are pleased to announce a brand new theatrical production for the fifth annual Capital Fringe Festival. The new show, "Irrelevant Acts of Entertainment," features Special Agent Galactica and her boys, Matt Gillette, Jedd Breckenridge and Jamie Boyle, taking lip-syncing to a whole new level of believability in their new full-length theatrical show.

Created especially for the 2010 Capital Fringe Festival, "Irrelevant Acts of Entertainment" pulls from all genres of music, such as contemporary, classic rock, musical theater, standards, jazz, gospel, and even opera weaving together an eclectic theater experience of songs, monologues, drama, comedy, large production numbers and intimate ballads to create a memorable production of pure perfected entertainment.

"Special Agent Galactica challenges herself with her new show," states Jeffrey Johnson, Ganymede Arts artistic director. "This is more than just a cabaret act, it is a full-length theatrical piece that pushes the boundaries-taking the audience to the fringe and delivering a show that is beyond anybodies conceived imagination."

The show runs on:
· Sunday, July 11 at 9:15 p.m.;
· Tuesday, July 13 at 10 p.m.;
· Friday, July 16 at 6 p.m.;
· Saturday, July 17 at 12:45 p.m.;
· Friday, July 23 at 8:15 p.m.; and
· Saturday, July 24 at 4 p.m.,
so come, see and experience Galactica at her best. In the words of Tony nominated writer, Charles Busch (Die, Mommie, Die and Psycho Beach Party) says, "Galactica is a sublime creation, male/female, sexy, humorous and surprisingly dramatic. As an illusion, she's uncanny, but more than that, she's very human."

All shows will be performed at Fort Fringe-The Shop, which is located at 607 New York Ave. N.W., Washington, D.C. 20001. The cost of a ticket is $15.
