Mismatched lovers Hermia, Lysander, Demetrius and Helena flee to the forest outside Athens, but they run into a supernatural squabble that will alter their destinies forever. Will mischievous Puck create harmony or cacophony within the forest? Will Bottom and his Mechanicals put on a successful show for the Duke? Love, magic and wonder fill the air as dreams blend with reality in this must-see Shakespeare classic.

STC will also hold Family Week, a programming series of kid-friendly events in conjunction with the production, from December 11-16, 2012 in Sidney Harman Hall. STC created Family Week to encourage younger audiences to experience Shakespeare, in the belief that his words speak to all ages. For more information on Family Week, patrons can check out the STC website at Shakespeare Theatre Company" href="http://tracking.wordfly.com/click?sid=MTQ5XzM3MzFfNjU3MTlfNjc4NA&l=a8ac5bcc-173f-e211-9a10-e41f1345a486&utm_source=wordfly&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=2012_12_5_Press_Release_MIDSUMMER_EXTENSION&utm_content=version_A&sourceNumber=18995" target="_blank">ShakespeareTheatre.org.
