'SIGNATURE SCENE' Mixer For Young Professionals Starts 12/4

Signature Theatre invites young professionals to "Signature Scene," special Thursday night performances of Les Misérables, The Little Dog Laughed, Giant, and See What I Wanna See featuring half-price tickets and festive pre-show receptions. Mix and mingle with other theater-goers at the innovative theater The New York Times calls "positively swanky" and The Washington Post calls "a signature space to match its reputation."

"Signature Scene" kicks off with Les Misérables on December 4 with an elegant French wine and cheese reception at 6:30 pm prior to the 8:00 pm performance of the new environmental production of the great musical. The price for the package is $32.50.

The Little Dog Laughed, the hilarious Hollywood satire that can't keep the star in the closet, is on February 12 with snazzy California wines at 6:30 pm, preceding the 8:00 pm curtain. The combined event is $28.00 per person.

On April 30, the world premiere production of the musical Giant, based on the epic Texan novel and film, features a tequila tasting at 6:30 pm, followed by the 8:00 pm performance. The Texan fest is $30.50.

The Japanese inspired musical See What I Wanna See features a saki tasting at 6:30 with the 8:00 pm performance. Scheduled for May 5, the package is $24.50.

The theater's much praised source of refreshment, Ali's Bar, offers outstanding wine and light fare before and after shows selected by wine wizard Suzanne McGraff, the proprietor of Shirlington's acclaimed wine store, "The Curious Grape."

Signature Theatre is just 12 minutes from downtown Washington, DC in Arlington's Shirlington Village. The new theater complex is located at 4200 Campbell Avenue (22206) off I-395 at the Shirlington exit. After the exit, blue Signature signs mark the way to the Theatre. Free parking is available in two adjacent public garages. Please note that Campbell Avenue is a new street and some GPS online mapping systems do not yet recognize Signature Theatre's address.
