Jersey Boys Tour To Present ROCK LIKE A MAN 11/16, Benefits BC/EFA

On Monday November 16th, the cast of JERSEY BOYS 1st National tour will present "ROCK LIKE A MAN" an evening of classic rock and roll at the D.C Improv with proceeds to benefit Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS.

This one-night-only-event will feature the men and women of the 1st National Tour of JERSEY BOYS performing Classic Rock and Roll (featuring songs originally recorded by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Led Zepplin, Pink, Joan Jett, The Beatles, The Eagles and more). In addition, Steve Gouviea, John Gardiner, Josh Franklin and Kara Tremel will be performing original material. Musical Backing will be provided by Leo Huppert and The Vig (Nick Dickerson, Mark Papazian, Buck Hujabre and Caren Cole). Performers scheduled to appear include: Graham Fenton, Josh Franklin, Steve Gouviea, Courter Simmons, John Gardiner, Sarah Darling, Nathan Scherich, Ryan Strand, Chris DeAngelis, Buck Hujabre, Brandon Matthieus, Renee Marino, Kevin Worley, and more.

I addition to the performances, there will also be an auction featuring autographed Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons memorabilia, Jersey Boys collectables and special, rare, one-of-a-kind, collectors' items with all proceeds benefiting Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS.

Tickets are strictly limited and only available in the lobby of The National Theatre immediately following JERSEY BOYS performances or via the D.C Improv website. Tickets will be available beginning November 2nd at both outlets.

By drawing upon the talents, resources and generosity of the American theatre community, since 1988 BC/EFA has raised over $175 million for essential services for people with AIDS and other critical illnesses across the United States.

BC/EFA is the major supporter of seven programs at The Actors' Fund - including The AIDS Initiative, The Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative, The Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic, The Dancers' Resource and three supportive housing residences. BC/EFA also awards annual grants to over 400 AIDS and family service organizations nationwide.
