The story of a city in denial, THE NORMAL HEART unfolds like a real-life political thriller: a tight-knit group of friends refuses to let doctors, politicians, and the press bury the truth of an unspoken epidemic. A quarter-century after it was written, this outrageous, unflinching, and unforgettable look at the sexual politics of New York during the AIDS crisis remains one of the theatre's most powerful statements.

Cast includes DC stalwarts: Will Gartshore (Parade at Fords, Show Boat at Signature), Holly Twyford (Old Times at Shakespeare, Orestes, A Tragic Romp at Folger Theatre), J. Fred Shiffman (Sunset Boulevard at Signature, HH Award Winner Souvenir at Studio), Mitchell Hebert (Clybourne Park at Woolly, Around the World in 80 Days at Round House), Chris Dinolfo (Clybourne Park at Woolly, King Lear at Synetic), Gregory Gallagher, Tim Getman (Arthur Miller Rep at Arena, The Unmentionables at Woolly), Rick Hammerly (Artistic Director of Factory 449, Hedwig at Signature), Jason Lott (Something Past in Front of the Light at Longacre Lea, Valparaiso at Forum) and Karl Miller (HH Award Winner Angels in America at Forum, Completeness at Playwright Horizons NY).

Jeremy Skidmore, the director of Forum's critically-acclaimed, Helen Hayes Award-winning Angels in America: Millennium Approaches, will stage this all-star cast in one of the most important plays of the past 30 years.
