The very best of the Internet's most iconic advertisement and missed connection website is reimagined on stage in this newly devised play, conceived by Edward Daniels, and created by the artists of Flying V. The Best of Craigslist, directed by Flying V Producing Artistic Director Jason Schlafstein, runs June 14 through June 30 at The Writer's Center.

Looking to hire a Dragon Slayer? Need to unload a sturdy wood dresser possessed by the demonic spirit of your ex? Woke up to a naked stranger in your bed and want to make that Missed Connection? You must be on Craigslist - and so are we. With text taken directly from actual Craigslist ads, the Internet comes to life in this original show created and performed by Flying V.

The Best of Craigslist is completely devised by the show's Creative Team, putting together an evening of scenes, monologues, and vignettes, including original music created and performed by the cast, based on or verbatim from actual Craigslist posts. This world premiere will be adapting 37 separate posts in a variety of highly awesome and theatrical ways including: song, dance, violence, and puppetry.

The Best of Craigslist was conceived by Edward Daniels and is directed by Jason Schlafstein. The cast will include Flying V Company Member Katie Nigsch-Fairfax, with Britt Duff, Eugene Fertlemeyster, Nick Hagy, Edward C. Nagel, and Megan Westman. The production team will include set design by Company Member Andrew Berry, props design by Company Member Andrea "Dre" Moore, costume design by Denise Umland, lighting design by Kristin A. Thompson, sound design by Neil McFadden, puppet design by Kyra Corradin, and fight choreography by Flying V's Managing Director Jonathan Ezra Rubin. Additional credits include Christine Alexander (assistant director), Cody Whitfield (stage manager), Rachel Cervarich (assistant stage manager), Ian Jordan (technical director), and Company Member Jessica Chinelli (scenic charge).

The Best of Craigslist runs June 14-June 30, 2013; Thursdays through Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 2pm. Performances to take place at The Writer's Center, 4508 Walsh Street, Bethesda, MD 20815.

Tickets for The Best of Craigslist are $10 and can be purchased through Brown Paper Tickets online at http://flyingv.brownpapertickets.com, or at the door starting one hour before the performance, at 4508 Walsh Street, Bethesda, MD 20815.
