Cool Collectibles at McLean Antiques Show & Sale Held 11/14

McLean Antique Show & Sale, which is being held at the McLean Community Center, will offer shoppers a wide variety of one-of-a-kind antiques in an intimate environment that is conducive to talking to dealers one-on-one. The show will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 14. Admission is $7 for adults and is good both days of the show. A $1 discount coupon is available on the Center's website. Proceeds of the show will benefit the Alden Theatre's James C. Macdonald Arts Scholarship Fund. The Center is located at 1234 Ingleside Ave., and offers free parking.
Unique to this show, in addition to the quality dealers, will be free verbal appraisals will be available from Peenstra Antiques Appraisals on a first-come, first-served basis. Paul Nulton, a glass restoration specialist, will be available to repair damaged glass. Lunch and dinner fare will be provided by Sweetleaf Restaurant.Managed by Pappabello Shows, the sale offers American, English, Asian and European antiques, decorative accessories, furniture, folk art, fine porcelains, silver, linens, paintings, Oriental rugs, jewelry and more. Many of the popular dealers who have participated in the show for years will be returning along with several new dealers. This year's show vendors include: Antiques of London, Chimney Corner Antiques (Newburyport, Mass.), Frost Antiques (Arlington), Gold Leaf (Atlanta, Ga.), Griffon's Medieval (St. Petersburg, Fla.), Honar Rug Restoration (Rockville, Md.) Bernie Krauss (West Orange, N.J.), Perry-Joyce Fine Arts (Sawyer, Mich.), Silver & Such (Savage Mill, Md.) Walker Home (Fredericksburg, Va.) and Carolyn Yost Estate Jewelry (Stonington, Conn.).
