Arena Stage and DC Casineros to Host Dance Party After DESTINY OF DESIRE, 9/13
Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater in partnership with renowned dance company DC Casineros will host DESIRE A DANCE, a FREE Latin American dance party and class on Sunday, September 13, 2015, following the 7:30 p.m. performance of the world-premiere telenovela-inspired comedy DESTINY OF DESIRE.
Participants will receive instruction from dance experts in Cha Cha Chá, Rueda de Casino, Afro-Cuban Rumba and more, and beginners and experienced dancers are encouraged to attend for a lively evening of cocktails and sizzling choreography. Admittance to this event is free with the purchase of a ticket to DESTINY OF DESIRE.

Founded in 2005 by Amanda Gill and Adrian Valdivia, DC Casineros is respected for their remarkable ability to dance with the sabor and energy of Cuba. This world-renowned dance company performs popular and folkloric Cuban dances, including Casino dance, Rueda de Casino, Son, Afro-Cuban Rumba and Cha Cha Chá. DC Casineros has performed at over 200 venues in the D.C. area and over 20 Salsa Congresses around the world.
