A Love Story For The Rest Of Us -- Tasty Monster Productions Takes On The PERSONALS March 16 & 17
Tasty Monster Productions, a new theater company dedicated to the production of cutting edge original and re-envisioned theatrical and musical works for new audiences is proudly announces our inaugural production Personals (by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.) a love story for the rest of us featuring the talents of DC metro actors Heather Bagnall Scheeler, Jenny Donovan, Stephen Hoch, Kristen Jepperson, Ken Kemp, and Luke Tudball and the musical talents of Musical Director Mike Noonan and the award winning musical trio the Unified Jazz Ensemble.
Presented at the Helen Hayes Award-winning Adventure Theatre in Glen Echo Park, Personals is a comedic musical romp through the crazy world of internet dating and personals ads. Written by David Crane, Seth Friedman and Marta Kauffman - the writers of the hit TV show, Friends - this heartwarming journey through the trials, tribulations, and sometime successes of the dating world is a must for anyone who has ever taken a second look at life and wondered what might have been. Music by Stephen Schwartz, Alan Menken, William K. Dreskin, Joel Phillip Friedman, Seth Friedman, and Michael Skloff.
