At the height of their creative powers, The Beatles produced three legendary albums: Revolver, Rubber Soul, and Abbey Road - each a ground-breaking achievement.

Local musicians will duplicate that achievement at Town Hall Theater tonight, when they perform perfect, note-for-note covers of every song on all three albums.

Members of the popular band The Grift have joined with other area musicians, including Jer Coons, to master the Beatles sound. Hits from these albums, almost too numerous to mention, include Eleanor Rigby, Got To Get Your Into My Life, Michele, Something, and the seamless B side of Abbey Road.

"This concert thrills me for two reasons," says THT executive director Douglas Anderson. "I'm a big Beatles fan, and Beatles fans everywhere will want to hear this concert. But it's also fascinating to see these younger musicians get hooked on the music of an earlier generation. We always thought this music would live forever, and events like this suggest that it will."

Tomorrow Never Knows will be performed at Middlebury's Town Hall Theater on Friday, October 7, at 8 pm. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at www.townhalltheater.org, 802 382-9222, at the THT Box Office (Mon-Sat, noon-5 pm) and at the door.
