The North Branch School Gala Auction and Dinner Dance Held At Town Hall Theater

The North Branch School of Ripton, an independent school for students in grades 7 - 9, is hosting The Seventh Annual NBS Auction, Silent Auction, Dinner and Contra Dance with Atlantic Crossing at The Town Hall Theater in Middlebury on Saturday, December 4th from 6:00 pm - 10 pm.

The silent and live auctions will include an exciting assortment of items perfect for holiday gift-giving. Original paintings by Anne Cady, Dave Maille, Tal Birdsey, Ginger Birdsey, antiques, tickets for Garrison Keillor, an overnight stay with dinner at Blueberry Hill and Tourterelle, day of sailing on Lake Champlain, ski passes, vacation homes, a weekend for two to Timberlock at IndIan Lake, an Italian dinner for eight, lessons of all kinds, Red Sox tickets, memberships, gift certificates and hand-decorated balsam wreaths are just a few of the items available to bid on.

The evening begins at 6:00, at which time guests can enjoy hors-d'oeuvres and a cash bar while previewing the silent and live auction offerings. A hearty dinner of chili, bread, salad and dessert will be served at 7:00 pm with the live auction beginning during dessert. Following the auction, the floor will be cleared for some great music and contra dancing with Atlantic Crossing.

Tickets are $25/adults, $15/students or $70/family, and are available at The Vermont Bookshop on Main Street, at the North Branch School, from North Branch families, or at the door.
