BROADWAY HOLIDAY Held At St Michael's Playhouse 12/3

Stars from summer hits of the Saint Michael's Playhouse are coming to town to put on a dazzling musical evening BROADWAY HOLIDAY to benefit The Playhouse. The only Playhouse performance of this holiday celebration will be Saturday, Dec. 3, at 7:30 p.m. in the McCarthy Arts Center.

Playhouse stars Bill Carmichael (The Pirates of Penzance, Barnum, Breaking Up Is Hard To Do, The Drowsy Chaperone), Kathryn Markey (I Love You You're Perfect Now Change, Suds, The Drowsy Chaperone), Lucy Sorensen (Suds, Marvelous Wonderettes, Always...Patsy Cline) and Craig Wells (The Drowsy Chaperone) will perform classic tunes from Broadway shows including Guys and Dolls, Carousel, My Fair Lady, and Camelot, as well as Broadway holiday songs "White Christmas," "We Need A Little Christmas" "Happy Holidays," "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," and many more!

Bill Carmichael was last seen on Broadway in Mamma Mia Other Broadway credits include Les Miserables, Cats and Peter Pan. Bill was in the original production of Forbidden Broadway and in Los Angeles was in the original US premiere of Ragtime, Forever Plaid and Sweeney Todd with Kelsey Grammer. National tours include Phantom of the Opera, City of Angels and Cats.

Kathryn Markey appeared on Broadway in 3 From Brooklyn and has been featured at Symphony Space in The Thalia Follies, Bloomsday, and Wall to Wall Broadway.

Lucy Sorensen resides in NYC where her performances include Sympathy Jones (NYMF), Sarah, Plain & Tall; We Tell the Story (Lortel) and Eleanor Roosevelt in the musical, Einstein & the Roosevelts.

Craig Wells appeared on Broadway in Les Misérables and Chess (original cast recording). Off-Broadway in Forbidden Broadway (original cast recording Forbidden Broadway Vol. 3), Closer Than Ever, Balancing Act (original cast recording).

Having just completed its 64th season of professional summer theater, the Saint Michael's Playhouse has been named "One of the best regional theater companies in America" by The Drama League of New York City, and hailed by Yankee Magazine as "The Best of New England."

Chuck Tobin is producing artistic director of the Saint Michael's Playhouse.
