Vancouver TheatreSports Presents 2018 Year In Review Image

Vancouver TheatreSports (VTS) is pleased to present 2018 Year in Review from Wednesday, December 26 to Monday, December 31 at The Improv Centre on Granville Island. Tickets range in price from $10.75 to $39.25 and are available online at http://www.vtsl.com/show/2018-year-in-review/.

Elections, legalized pot, climate change, 'affordable' housing (or lack thereof), internet hacks and perennial Vancouver favourite - bike lanes, dominated the headlines in 2018. Bid farewell to all of this doom and gloom as 2018 Year in Review takes an improvised look at these top stories, and adds a much-needed comedic perspective as we prepare for the coming year.

"With all the bad news out there, everyone needs a good laugh right now," says VTS Artistic & Executive Director Jay Ono. "It's been said that 'laughter is the best medicine', and I truly believe that."

No event is safe from ridicule and, as always, the scenarios will be based on audience suggestions challenging our quick-witted improvisers to create instant, unscripted comedy. While much of 2018 was no laughing matter, the VTS ensemble will have you crying tears of joy at their in-the-moment reinterpretations of the news that was and leave you feeling lighter and happier - a great way to start off a new year!
So give a 'buh-bye' to 2018 and ring in 2019 with a smile on your face as VTS revisits the top stories, celebrity scandals and political fiascos with 2018 Year in Review. You'll laugh 'til your face hurts.

"I went New Year's Eve with a group. Great night out! The players are so fast. Very funny. I will go again!" - Tom S., Google review
