Braden Gates Comes to Festival Place

Part of the Qualico Cafe Series, Festival Place is pleased to present local singer-songwriter, Braden Gates, January 25, 2019.
Braden Gates' newest release Pictures of Us is Gates' fourth studio album and first for Canadian label Borealis Records. Recorded at Riverdale Recorders in Edmonton and produced by Harry Gregg, it features a cast of the city's finest musicians, including Daniel Stadnicki and Keith Rempel. This collection of songs touch on the fragility of everyday life, and at times, are both tragic and humorous by the same stroke of the pen. Gates' songwriting ability and musicality make Pictures of Us an album that promises to remain an important snapshot on the Canadian roots music scene for years to come.
Festival Place continues to be Alberta's #1 Presenter of Professional Artists. The 2017/2018 season showcased an eclectic mix of over 80 incredibly talented performers. The 2018/2019 season carries on the same ambitious standard of entertainment, with over 50 performances already scheduled between September 2018 and April 2019, with new shows added throughout the year.
