25th Anniversary Production of LES MISERABLES to Premiere Tomorrow at Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium as Originally Scheduled

By:

Cameron Mackintosh's new 25th anniversary production of LES MISERABLES remains scheduled to open tomorrow, Tuesday, June 25 at 8 p.M. Sharp at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium. Despite TransCanada highway closures, the company has planned alternative routing from Vancouver, in order to ensure the trucks and cast arrive to Calgary safely, and on time to make the originally scheduled Tuesdayopening.

While the original show schedule for Calgary remains intact, the producers and presenters understand that many Calgarians have been significantly impacted by the city's recent flooding.

Broadway Across Canada has confirmed ticket holders who are unable to attend their originally scheduled performance due to flooding may exchange their tickets into other performances later in the run; and lost ticket replacement services are also available; both options available by simply contacting the original point of purchase.

Theatregoers are urged to allow significant extra time in travelling to the theatre due to potential road closures and/or additional traffic around the City of Calgary.

Tickets for the engagement running through July 7th are still available at Ticketmaster locations, www.ticketmaster.ca or call toll-free 1.855.985.5000. Tickets for LES MISERABLES vary in price depending on performance, seat location, and date of purchase.

In Calgary, LES MISERABLES plays Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday matinee at 2:00 p.m. and Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m.

LES MISERABLES, in Calgary, presented by Broadway Across Canada, is part of a five city tour in Western Canada including dates in Vancouver June 11-23, 2013; Edmonton July 9 - 14, 2013; Regina July 16 - 21, 2013; and Winnipeg July 23 - 28, 2013.
