Tim Crouch's I, BANQUO Comes To London

SE Theatre Company are de­lighted to be bringing our 2018 production of Tim Crouch's I, Banquo to The Vaults on Friday 31stMay and Saturday 1stJune 2019.

A blood-shot, story-telling journey into the heart of Shakespeare's Macbeth, told through the eyes of his murdered best friend, this critically acclaimed one-man show combines classic theatre and modern story-telling.

Simão Vaz and Elliott Wallis trained with the Year Out Drama Company in Stratford-upon-Avon in 2013. In early 2017 we created SE Theatre Company, with the mission of reinterpreting old classics through modern eyes, and bringing the voice of new writers to the stage. Last year, we produced a new staging of Tim Crouch's retelling of Macbeth, 'I, Banquo', at the Attic Theatre in the Bards hometown, Stratford-upon-Avon.

Simão Vaz - Banquo

Born in Portugal, Simão moved to the UK in 2013 and has since worked in a variety of projects spanning different mediums.

Elliott Wallis - Director

As well as co-directing SE, Elliott is also the resident Music Director for Tread the Boards Theatre Company, based in Stratford-upon-Avon.
