Theatre Royal Stratford East Announces Queer Lates

Theatre Royal Stratford East today announces that on Thursday 8 November they will host Queer Lates, a cabaret night paying tribute to the East End's queer scene and celebrating queer performance and the contribution of the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies. The evening will be hosted by Rhys's Pieces, and will feature entertainment from a variety of Queer talents including Drag Queen Dolly Trolley, Drag Kings Chiyo and Benjamin Butch, international solo artist Rubyyy Jones, and the Girls Aloud Drag tribute act Gals Aloud.
London's East End is the epicentre of dynamic and alternative Queer performance which is renowned across the world.
Now those acts are storming the Stratford East stage in a late-night cabaret extravaganza to celebrate everything that is queer and proud.
Stratford East has long been hailed as the home of radical, political and socially engaging entertainment - everything that Queer performance is itself - come with us as we get raucous and dance the night away.
Nadia Fall, Artistic Director of Theatre Royal Stratford East said: I've frequented East-end queer nights as a fan and punter over the years and wanted to create a celebratory night, as a regular evet for ground breaking artists to share their work, making it an important destination in the queer calendar.
Queer Lates will take place after the showing of The Wolves, Sarah DeLappe's award-winning debut play which is receiving its European premiere at Theatre Royal Stratford East on Tuesday 30 October 2018.
Further acts to be announced.
