Rose Theatre Kingston has announced the next season of work that will be appearing at the southwest London venue. Highlights of the new season include the Rose productions, THE LADY FROM THE SEA starring Joely Richardson, recently seen in U.S. version of THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO. Also playing this season is HERE, a comedy about love and living together by one of Britain's most acclaimed playwrights, Michael Frayn.

Stephen Unwin, Artistic Director of Rose Theatre Kingston said, "Michael Frayn is one of Britain's greatest playwrights and we're thrilled to be staging a major revival of his razor-sharp comedy HERE, [as well as] Joely Richardson in Ibsen's THE LADY FROM THE SEA."

This season, The Rose is also presenting a wide variety of work for the whole family. THE SNAIL AND THE WHALE AND TIDDLER AND OTHER TERRIFIC TALES are based on the books of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, the creators of the The Gruffalo. Families will be able to see Pinocchio carved live on stage in the award-winning Indefinite Articles' production of the children's classic, PINOCCHIO.

In its own style, the Rose will be celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee by travelling back to 1952. Rose Britannia! will see the theatre's foyers and bars transformed into a traditional country fair, followed by a fundraising concert in the main auditorium. The English Pocket Opera Company will be creating, performing and recording the biggest children's opera ever known – Ring Round the World, to celebrate the London 2012 Olympic Festival.
