The TMA's annual awards have been presented in a ceremony at the Lyric Hammersmith hosted by Strictly Come Dancing judge and director-choreographer Craig Revel Horwood.

The regional equivalent of the Laurence Olivier Awards, the TMA Awards are presented by the Theatrical Management Association, and celebrate the best of the work on stage around the UK and in off-West End London venues such as the Royal Court, the Young Vic and the Lyric Hammersmith. At a time of cuts to the Arts Council which will affect many Regularly Funded Organisations, the Awards are a timely reminder of the extraordinary quality of talent across the UK and proof of the continued vale of investment in the arts.
