Returning to the King's Head after a sell-out run in May, Pat Cash's play is a relevant and deeply felt look at the current climate of gay relationships. Following from his success with Superficial at The Glory in June, Cash is delighted to be once again presenting The Chemsex Monologues with Dragonflies Theatre. In addition, the play is to be published by Oberon books to accompany the run. Described as "an extraordinary tapestry of pleasure and pain", Dragonflies Theatre? are delighted to announce the return of their sold-out show THE CHEMSEX MONOLOGUES to the King's Head Theatre.

A nameless narrator meets an intriguing boy on a Vauxhall night out; a club night poster boy gets taken to Old Mother Meth's place by a porn star. Fag Hag Cath discovers that these chillouts have become more and more about sex; a sexual health worker is doing community outreach in the saunas... Explicit, funny and touching, THE CHEMSEX MONOLOGUES showcase a realm that is sometimes dark, but populated by very loveable human beings. THE CHEMSEX MONOLOGUES runs August 15th-20th at The King's Head Theatre.
