St Helens Theatre Royal Crown Miss Royal Beauty 2017
The venues' annual search for its next Royal Beauty has been decided for 2017. All the finalists were shortlisted and a judging panel had the tough decision of picking a winner from all the incredibly talented hopefuls, but Lauren came out victorious.
Her crowning glory and finest achievement to date arrives with the title of this year's Miss Royal Beauty 2017, a victory which sees her qualify as a finalist for the prestigious Miss England 2017 event in Birmingham on Friday 14th July!
Passionate Lauren enjoys raising much needed money for well deserving charities through her modelling opportunities and has previously entered Miss LMI and Miss Liverpool's Next Top Model!
50 regional winners from across the nation will arrive in Birmingham for the event where Lauren will be vying for the Miss England crown and the first prize worth £25,000. The lucky winner will then go on to represent the nation at the finals of Miss World and will be in with a chance of winning £100k.
The Miss England contest is not just a beauty contest. The contest prides itself on being different from traditional modelling competitions where contestants are just judged on looks only.
It has been the organiser's objective in the last 15 years to move away from the traditional concept of a bathing beauty, judging women just on looks alone and hardworking Lauren certainly isn't afraid to get her hands dirty as she currently studies at a specialist engineering college where she proves that models are more than just a pretty face.
Chantelle Nolan, manager of St Helens Theatre Royal, which hosted the contest, said: "We are delighted to announce Lauren as our Miss Royal Beauty 2017 and we wish her the best of luck in the Miss England finals. Congratulations Lauren, and a very big well done to all that entered!"
