Sell A Door Theatre Hosts Ceilidh After Performance of KIDNAPPED Today
Sell A Door Theatre Company will be hosting a Ceilidh at the London Fields Brewhouse today 10th May, after their swashbuckling production of Kidnapped.
The cast of Kidnapped will perform at the Hackney Empire on Saturday May 10th at 7pm. After the show, you can join them at the London Fields Brewhouse for a ceilidh and beer festival until midnight!
An adventure tale for all ages, Kidnapped tells the story of Davie Balfour as he survives shipwreck and kidnap to dramatically escape to the Highlands of Scotland. Set against the fierce social and political backdrop of 1750s Scotland, this gripping, fast paced adventure story is packed full of puppetry, live music, hilarious sword fights and oodles of imagination!
The Brewhouse at The London Fields Brewery will be our home for the evening. The British Craft Beer Challenge beer festival will be offering a wide choice of ales to please the pallet of Britain's most hardened beer enthusiasts and casual beer drinkers alike. Wines, spirits and soft drinks will also be available. London Fields Brewery will provide food stations located around the venue, to keep the dancers fuelled.
The Ceilidh Liberation front will bring a modern twist to the traditional Ceilidh and are sure to get the floor bouncing with the feet of dancers. 'Featuring a small army of fantastic musicians, this new-old-beautiful-crazy formation, The Ceilidh Liberation Front, combine music, dance and a good old sprinkling of theatricals to bring this unique experience to the world.'
