Royal Court Theatre Presents GET SANTA! 12/1/2010-1/15/2011

London's Royal Court Theatre will present its very first family Christmas show. The show is entitled GET SANTA! and is appropriate for children seven and older.

GET SANTA! is written and directed by Anthony Neilson and will open on December 14. GET SANTA! will close on January 15, 2011.

The show, which features a story by Neilson and Powell and music by Powell tell the story of a young girl whose only wish is to meet her real father. She makes a plan to capture Santa when he comes to deliver her gifts on Christmas Eve

Dominic Cooke, the Royan Court's artistic director commented "One of the most exciting theatrical developments in recent years has been the explosion of quality work for children and families. I'm delighted that the Royal Court will be bringing its bold and contemporary sensibility to a family Christmas show this year. As one of our most inventive and imagiNative Theatre-makers Anthony Neilson is a natural choice for the job. I'm thrilled that he'll be teaming up with composer and regular collaborator Nick Powell to bring a slice of festive anarchy to Sloane Square this Christmas with Get Santa!"

Tickets for schools performances are available by telephone and email only - schools groups of 8+ can buy tickets for these performances at £8 each.
