Rose Theatre Presents HAY FEVER thru 10/23

HAY FEVER is now playing at the Rose Theater in Kingston until October 23. The production is directed by Stephen Unwin and stars Nichola McAuliffe as Judith Bliss.

When four guests arrive at a country house by the Thames, they expect a civilised weekend of polite conversation and illicit love affairs. But the famous actress Judith Bliss, her novelist husband and their two grown-up children are eccentric bohemians and, as confusion mounts, their unwitting guests are desperate to flee.

The production also features Stephen Boxer, Alexandra Gilbreath, Holly Jones, Adrian Lukis, Georgia Maguire, Joshua McGuire, Katy Secombe and Sam Swainsbury.

The Rose Theatre joins forces with Broadway producer Bud Martin to present The Three Musketeers, a brand new musical adapted from the classic novel by Alexandre Dumas. The Three Musketeers will play at the Rose prior to the West End.

With dreams of joining his childhood idols, The Musketeers, D'Artagnan arrives in Paris, a city seething with deadly secrets, romance and danger.

Despite their reputation, time has not been kind to the legendary Athos, Porthos and Aramis, and they are no longer the heroes they once were. As he battles to distinguish friend from foe, D'Artagnan finds that his greatest test may be the battle for the heart of the one he loves.

Energetic and physical, this new production of The Three Musketeers features an original score by George Stiles (Mary Poppins, Honk), lyrics by Paul Leigh and book by Peter Raby with Francis Matthews. Original concept by William Hobbs. Suitable for ages 10+

For younger children with family or school groups, we have a Christmas storytelling show from the grand master of children's writing, David Wood OBE.

Combining storytelling with magic, music and audience participation, David, ‘the national children's dramatist' (The Times), will re-enact his world-famous play, book and TV series The Gingerbread Man. The show also features A Present for Father Christmas and Funny Bunny's Magic Show.
