Support the Rose through Music, Magic and Christmas Cheer. Christmas is a time for friends to help each other out and it's no different at the Rose Theatre. Everyone from prominent actors to magicians and musicians are coming to Kingston this Christmas to help the Rose raise funds to produce another year of critical successes.

Christmas Concert

Join Harry the Piano, Timothy West, the Euphonix and Rose Plus Choirs for a Joyful Christmas Concert that will ring through the rafters. The festive and fun evening will include readings, music, jokes and anecdotes as well as some vigorous encouragements to sing along.

Jonathan Ross described Harry the Piano as 'The best damn pianist in the civilised world!'

Harry the Piano's unique ability to take live requests to play any song in any style has been featured on BBC radio 2, 3 and 4 and BBC TV's Children in Need. He has filled the Albert Hall, launched the QM2 and headlined at festivals worldwide. Expect musical comedy of "staggering virtuosity" (Sunday Times)

Magic at the Rose

Rose Theatre Kingston's Magic Show has become a favourite in the local calendar. Join us for an evening of large-scale illusions and astounding mind-reading followed by informal strolling magic around the bar. Get ready for the astounding Vox Brothers with their fiendish Spirit Cabinet, and prepare to be on The Edge of your seat as they dice with death to perform the legendary Bullet Catch.

Southbank Sinfonia

David Suchet and Simon Russell Beale present Britain's leading orchestral academy in an evening of music and readings from some of Britain's most prominent actors.

The Southbank Sinfonia provides a much needed springboard into the profession for young musicians. "A dashing ensemble who play with exhilarating fizz, exactness and stamina" (The Times)

The programme will include favourites such as the overture from The Marriage of Figaro by Mozart, Ich wandre durch Theresienstadt by Ilse Weber, Porgy and Bess Fantasia by George Gershwin and Piano Concerto 24 in C minor k491 by Mozart.

This concert is dedicated to the memory of Klaus Schiller and all proceeds will go to Amnesty International andRose Theatre Kingston
