West London's Tabard Theatre will present the world premiere of Richard Harris' new play, Liza Liza Liza from 4 - 29 September 2013. The production is directed by Kenn Oldfield with full cast and creative team to be announced.

Liza Liza Liza is a play that turns back the years, and peels back the veneer, on one of Hollywood's most compelling living icons. The professional and private lives of Liza Minnelli have experienced dizzying highs and crashing lows all ruthlessly captured and sold by the world's media.

Playwright Richard Harris (Outside Edge, The Business of Murder) worked with Liza Minnelli in 1991 when she was cast in the film adaption of his award winning playStepping Out. In his new play, Harris unearths and examines the tremendous and tragic tale of Liza's journey so far using interview and biographical quotes from Liza herself.

Harris said, 'Celebrities come and go every hour. Liza's story is different. It covers nearly every corner of the showbusiness world. Now that's a challenge to achieve. Even for the biggest stars out there. And yet she's still here. Entertaining the world - onstage and off. What's not to love about her?'

Liza Liza Liza is produced by Colin Hilton for Pulling Focus at the Tabard Theatre.

Tickets are from £20 (Concession £17). To book, visit http://www.tabardtheatre.co.uk/.
