Following their successful production of The Just So Stories at the King's Head Theatre over Christmas 2010, Red Table are pleased to announce its transfer to the Pleasance Theatre in Islington, for Easter 2011.

Rudyard Kipling's Just So Stories have enchanted both children and adults for generations. Director Rafe Beckley brings Kipling's classic stories to the theatre in this enchanting show for children aged 4+ and adults of all ages.

Children are encouraged to snuggle down in a comfortable pile of duvets, cushions, and beanbags at the front of the theatre as the storytellers use everyday objects to bring five of the best-beloved tales to life.

The production encourages children to rediscover the joys of imaginative play using found objects, as they grow up in a world which increasingly relies on manufactured and computerised entertainment.

"Just so entrancing... much of the laughter comes from grown-ups in the audience even though the production is completely child orientated... the little ones are entranced throughout."
