Photo Exclusive: First Look at the London Premiere of L-E-V at Sadler's Wells
Sadler's Wells Debut offers a chance to discover the work of choreographers new to the Sadler's Wells stage. This season sees Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar, stars of Israel's thriving dance scene, presenting the London premiere of L-E-V. BroadwayWorld has an exclusive first look below!
This piece is about love that always misses, or lovers out of sync. Eyal and Behar explore this space, viewing themes of the heart through the lens of obsessive-compulsive disorder. Performed to deep, pulsing, tribal grooves, this is a powerful display from the company's fiercely talented dancers, inspired by Neil Hilborn's text "OCD".
"I asked her out six times in thirty seconds. She said yes after the third one, but none of them felt right, so I had to keep going."
