Photo Coverage: First Look at Mark Bruce Company's THE ODYSSEY in Wilton
The award-winning Mark Bruce Company, whose critically acclaimed dance theatre production of DRACULA performed to sellout audiences across the country in 2013 and 2014, return to Wilton's Music Hall with their new production THE ODYSSEY with a three and a half week run from tonight, February 23rd, to March 19th. The production continues on a UK tour through April 28, 2016. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the company in action below!
THE ODYSSEY, Homer's epic poem written over two thousand years ago, is given the Mark Bruce Company dance theatre treatment; a dramatic, rich re-telling of the 10-year journey undertaken by Odysseus after the fall of Troy.The show features dancers Chris Akrill, Jordi Calpe Serrats, Eleanor Duval, Nicola Guarino, Grace Jabbari, Hannah Kidd, Wayne Parsons, Chris Tandy and Alan Vincent, and apprentices Natalie Dodd and Lia Ujcic.
Directed and choreographed by Mark Bruce, THE ODYSSEY features costumes by Dorothee Brodrück, lighting by Guy Hoare and set design by Phil Eddolls.
