PUTTIN' ON THE RITZ Coming to Grand Theatre, Blackpool Later This Month

Presented by International Theatre Producer David King the tour of the spectacular PUTTIN' ON THE RITZ arrives at the Grand Theatre, Blackpool from the 27th July - 29th August. PUTTIN' ON THE RITZ is currently wowing audiences on tour across the UK with it's spectacular song and dance performances as this stunning production re-creates the glamour of Hollywood.

PUTTIN' ON THE RITZ at the Grand Theatre, Blackpool, will star the hugely popular "Strictly" professional dancers Katya Virshilas,and Jared Murillo, and will be joined by special guest Britain's Got Talent Semi-Finalist Becky O'Brien who will be performing a special tribute to Judy Garland.

Jared Murillo is an American national and world ballroom dance champion. He won the US Open Swing Youth Championships at the age of 21. His screen credits include the hugely popular High School Musical films and the TV sensation - Glee. Jared was also a popular professional dancer on Strictly come Dancing. Katya Virshilas was the youngest ever British Columbian Latin Dance Champion at the age of 16. Katya co-choreographed, trained and danced in the iconic Tango sequence from Take the Lead with Antonio Banderas and has choreographed on two seasons of BBC1's So You Think You Can Dance. Katya has appeared in 3 series of BBC1's Strictly Come Dancing and has been in popular TV shows such as Supernatural, Smallville and The Guard. Becky received standing ovations from the four judges on Britain's Got Talent for her performance of Somewhere Over the Rainbow.

PUTTIN' ON THE RITZ takes you on a musical journey with wonderful music from three legendary composers, Cole Porter, George Gershwin and Irving Berlin. Songs in the show will include Cheek to Cheek, Alexander's Rag Time Band, Birth of the Blues, Swanee, Night and Day, I Got Rhythm, Easter Parade, and Puttin' On The Ritz.

These classic songs of the Golden Age of Hollywood will be recreated live on stage with a star-studded cast of singers and dancers who are set wow the audience with their slick harmonies, glamorous costumes and ballroom dancing skills.
