Our RITA's Presents An All-Woman Night Of Comedy At Storyhouse Storyhouse Chester is hosting a Women Weekend special full of fantastically funny female comics this month.

Our RITA's Comedy Club returns to the popular venue on Saturday 28 April with another hilarious Comedy Gala; bringing together some of the wittiest women on the live stand-up circuit.

The brilliant evening of laughs takes place in the intimate Garret Theatre at Storyhouse, and forms part of the venue's wider Women Weekend programme.

The line-up includes Vikki Stone and Kiri Pritchard-McLean, while Liverpool Comedian of the Year Nina Gilligan will act as MC.

Piano-playing Vikki Stone has been described as the love child of Victoria Wood and Tim Minchin.

The Royal Academy of Music-trained former member of the National Youth Theatre is best known for her original comedy songs, but is also an actress, musician and composer. She was commissioned to write a comedy choral piece for the National Youth Choir of Great Britain, which had its world premiere at the Royal Albert Hall, and is currently working on her debut musical.

Comedy fans will have seen the award-winning comedian on a host of shows including The John Bishop Show, Impractical Jokers UK, and I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here... Now.

Meanwhile Kiri Pritchard-McLean is writer and director for popular comedy sketch group Gein's Family Giftshop, and host of the podcast All Killa No Filla along with fellow comedian Rachel Fairburn.

She took her debut solo show, Hysterical Woman, to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2016.

Last month she won two coveted Chortle Awards 2018 - best compère and best club comedian, while her TV and radio credits include The Russell Howard' Hour, Comedy Central's Stand Up Central, ITV's Elevenish, and BBC Radio 4's Now Show and News Quiz.

And award-winning Nina Gilligan promises hilarious and occasionally outrageous observational and story-telling comedy for all, and a persona you will fall in love with.

The Manchester-based comedian, writer and Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama-trained actor has been a regular on the comedy scene since 2011.

Jack Ryan, Managing Director of Our RITA's said: "We're excited to present this wonderful line-up of funny women on one brilliant bill. We've had two great nights at Storyhouse already this spring, and I can guarantee this is going to make it a hilarious hat-trick."
