Canadian Haley McGee's international award-winning solo show OH MY IRMA will continue its touring odyssey this summer with performances at the Haystack Theatre (Shrewsbury, England), Global Forum of the Arts (Varna, Bulgaria) and Tampereen Teatterikesä (Tampere, Finland).

OH MY IRMA made its New York debut in 2011 at United Solo, the world's largest solo theatre festival, and was awarded Best Overall Production. In 2012, OH MY IRMA embarked on an international tour with performances in New York City (USA), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Kiel (Germany), Brighton, London (UK) and Stratford (Canada). In 2013, a further international tour saw performances at Spark Festival, Victoria (Canada), Saint Muse Festival, Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia), MonoAKT Festival, Peja (Kosovo) and Edinburgh Festival Fringe (Scotland).

In the course of its international tours, OH MY IRMA has also received a Jury Commendation in the International Performance category and the Betty Asfalt Award as the highest-selling show in its venue at the Amsterdam Fringe, was awarded Best Encore Production at NYC United Solo, was awarded 1st Place (tied with Meher Awachri's D-Sisyphe from Tunisia) at THESPIS - 8th International Monodrama Festival in Kiel, was short-listed for The Arches Brick Award at Edinburgh Fringe, and McGee was awarded Best Actor at the MonoAKT Festival, Peja.

Directed by Siminovitch Prize Finalist, Chalmers and Dora Award winning director Alisa Palmer, OH MY IRMA sees McGee bring the memorable Mission Bird, a socially inept young woman with an insatiable appetite for connection, to the stage in her hilarious and mesmerizing "tour de force" play.

A comedy with razor teeth, Mission Bird finds herself in front of an audience, defending an unnamable crime which YES, she committed, but it wasn't her fault. The story takes macabre turns and Mission Bird's ardent defense crumbles as she comes closer to revealing to the audience what she's done - who she's killed.

Originating as a five-minute piece at an emerging artist cabaret at Theatre Passe Muraille, OH MY IRMA was further developed at the prestigious Banff Playwrights' Colony and performed to rave reviews and sold-out houses at the Edmonton International Fringe Festival, before its professional debut back at Theatre Passe Muraille as part of its 2010/11 Season.
