Nina Conti's DOLLY MIXTURES Plays Edinburgh Fringe, Aug 1-27

Mick Perrin for JFLL presents Nina Conti in DOLLY MIXTURES at Pleasance Dome, Potterow, 1 Bristo Square, Edinburgh EH8 9AL from 1st - 27th August at 8.30pm, as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Groundbreaking ventriloquist Nina Conti returns to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival following a two year break, during which time she has been busy film-making. A Ventriloquist's Story - Her Master’s Voice (winner of the audience award at the 2012 SXSW festival in Austin, Texas) and Make Me Happy: A Monkey’s Search for Happiness will be broadcast on BBC4 in June.

Conti’s new live show will be at the Pleasance Dome, 1st – 27th August. She introduces her daughter, her handyman, her local laundry proprietor, her oldest friend and a stray dog in a show that refuses to go as rehearsed. Expect a thoughtful mediation on love, life and The Edge of existence. And once you've bought your ticket, let that expectation go.
