In a world of referendums, Brexit, Trump and overall turmoil, the multi - award winning Margaret Thatcher Queen of Soho returns to the Underbelly Festival in 2017 to provide relief with the most fabulous game show of all! Fresh from a total sell-out Edinburgh Festival Fringe run in August 2016, the Iron Lady has set her sight on light entertainment has decided to become the new Mr. Saturday Night (except not a man).

Join Maggie as she leads audience members to compete for their golden giro cheque in a topical drag cabaret extravaganza like no other! Alongside cameo appearances from Jeremy Corbyn, Angela Merkel, Nigel Farage, Nicola Sturgeon and Owen Jones, and games including Brexit Through The Gift Shop, Fake News and Check Your Privilege, there'll be songs and let's not forget, there'll be catchphrases: 'The Lady's not for turning, for turning the lady's...?'

Created by Jon Brittain and Matt Tedford and produced by Off The KERB Productions and Áine Flanagan Productions, the magnificent Maggie returns to London with a brand new show, following a sell out run of Margaret Thatcher Queen of Soho in summer 2016. 2016's run of Margaret Thatcher Queen of Game Shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe saw the show playing to sold out audiences every night and become one of the top three best reviewed shows of the Fringe, garnering an admirable nine five star reviews and much critical acclaim and notoriety.

Since the Queen of Soho's debut in 2013, the drag comedy musical spectacular about gay rights, the 80's and disco received rave reviews across the board and won huge acclaim after playing to an audience of over 15,000 during two completely sold-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2014-2015, two sold-out runs at the Leicester Square Theatre (March and December 2015), a sold out run at the Underbelly Festival Southbank and two consecutive years at the Brighton Comedy Festival (2014 and 2015), as well as appearances at the Brighton Fringe and Dublin's International Gay Theatre Festival, both in 2014.

The show has won the Brighton Argus Angel for Artistic Excellence (Brighton Fringe) and Matt Tedford won the Micheál Mac Liammóir Award for Best Male Performance (Dublin International Gay Theatre Festival), and he also received a nomination for the Most Promising Writer (Off West End Awards). Co-creator Jon Brittain has recently won a prestigious Olivier award for the Outstanding Achievement In An Affiliate Theatre category for his critically acclaimed play, 'Rotterdam' and was nominated for Most Promising Playwright in The Evening Standard Theatre Awards 2016.

Margaret Thatcher Queen of Game Shows will be returning to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe August 2017, from 3rd - 27th August nightly at 9pm at Assembly George Square Gardens.
