Local Dancers Will Open for Flawless at the Belgrade Theatre

Following a national Instagram competition run alongside the Chase the Dream UK tour, West Midlands-based Marshon Dance Company are set to perform at the Belgrade Theatre alongside two-time World Dance Champions Flawless.

Best known for their appearances in the smash-hit Street Dance 3D films and for their success in Britain's Got Talent, the internationally acclaimed Flawless now return to Britain with a high energy, acrobatic-infused stage show, promising even bigger and more jaw-dropping routines than ever before.

Earlier this year, an online competition saw dance troupes local to each venue invited to submit an audition via Instagram, with the judges' favourites invited to be part of the production. Ahead of the Coventry performance on Wednesday 10 October, Birmingham-based Marshon Dance Company have now been revealed as the West Midlands winners, with nine dancers set to make an appearance on stage.

Founded in May 2016 by dancer, teacher and choreographer Nathan Marsh, Marshon Dance's purpose is to unite the community with affordable, high-quality training in a range of street dance styles, nurturing up-and-coming teachers, choreographers, directors and performers and preparing them for the professional world of dance.

In just two short years, the company has already established itself in the region, performing at prestigious events and competitions such as Breakin' Convention Birmingham, the Richfam Show in Valencia, B-Side Hip Hop Finals in Birmingham, Hip Hop International UK and World of Dance London. Most recently, they performed their first ever independent public showcase to huge success in Birmingham.

Nathan Marsh said: "We wanted to get involved because Flawless are an incredible dance crew that have inspired many. It's an amazing opportunity for the dancers and an honour that we get to open the show for them!"

Flawless - Chase the Dream: The Reboot follows the journey of ten Big Dreamers seeking the opportunity to live out their ultimate dance fantasy on board the Intergalactic Dream Ship. But the passengers soon realise that with every dream comes a dark reality, ultimately turning their dreams into nightmares. Now the team must battle their way back to reality to complete the journey home, or risk their minds being forever lost and trapped in the Realm of Dreams.
