Chickenshed's heart-warming and brilliantly silly Christmas show, Badjelly's Bad Christmas, is a madcap rollercoaster of a production that you won't want to miss!!

Spike Milligan, a friend and supporter of Chickenshed, wrote a children's book called Badjelly the Witch for his daughter Jane when she was just 6 years. Jane and Spike Milligan Productions have very kindly allowed Chickenshed to take Badjelly and add lots of other zany Spike characters to create Badjelly's Bad Christmas.

Christmas is a time for celebration and family but Granddad's lost his precious baubles and there is something distinctly odd about his new girlfriend! When squabbling sisters Kate and Laura discover the truth, they set off on a journey to stop nonsense turning into sense and Badjelly the Witch ruining Christmas fun for all time.

Through the lands of the Ning Nang Nong via the Bumbly Boo and on to Itchy Koo they do battle with Badjelly and her slightly disgruntled sisters. Sir Nobonk would ride to the rescue - if he could just remember where he'd put it. And as for the King of the Twytts...

Don't miss this, the craziest Christmas show since Ying-tong-iddled-i-po...

"Magnificent - that's Chickenshed!" Bob Hoskins

"Delightfully ludicrous adventure - suitably deranged - hilarious lyrics. Milligan will be dancing
and blowing raspberries from the wings." Jonathan Lovett The Stage (Dec 2010)
