Chichester-Based Lila Dance Presents New Show at The Point
Lîla Dance, a local company based in Chichester, presents The Hotel Experience at The Point, Eastleigh on Thursday 11th October.
A man checks into a hotel the night before his wedding unaware that things may not be as they seem. As the clock ticks the walls around him seem to blur and dissolve as fragments of memories tumble into the room in the form of past lovers. It soon becomes a night of doubt, hope, crisis, and unexpected encounters. When the sun rises, he has an important decision to make.
Lîla Dance is an @HOME artist at The Point. The @HOME scheme launched in February 2018 to support established performance companies in creating new work, establishing new connections and reaching new audiences. The Hotel Experience is the company's most recent touring show, supported by The Point and developed in the venue's Creation Space.
The company will also present work at The Point Associates Home Night on Thursday 15th November, alongside other artists supported by the venue.
