Sheffield Theatres and Evolution Pantomimes are delighted to announce Coronation Street's Wendi Peters, children's favourite Phil Gallagher (CBeebies' Mister Maker) and Sheffield legend Damian Williams will star in Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs at the Lyceum Theatre this Christmas.

Written and directed by Paul Hendy and produced by the same team behind last year's Box Office smash-hit Aladdin, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will take to the Lyceum stage from Friday 9 December 2016 until Sunday 8 January 2017.

With stunning costumes, spectacular scenery and packed full of fun for the whole family, Snow White tells the story of a Princess, a Wicked Queen, a magical mirror, seven loyal friends and an all important kiss of true love!

Wendi Peters plays the Wicked Queen. Wendi is perhaps best known to audiences as the much-loved character Cilla Battersby Brown in Coronation Street. Wendi's other roles include recurring character Cook Jenkins in Hetty Feather, 'Podger' Pam Jolly in Bad Girls and she also appeared on Celebrity Masterchef, where she reached the finals.

Phil Gallagher will play Muddles. A BAFTA nominated performer, Phil is best known for his role as CBeebies' Mister Maker. Since its first transmission in 2007, Mister Maker has become a worldwide hit and now plays in over 100 countries around the world. For the past two years Phil has also taken Mister Maker on tour in the UK and internationally - including sixteen sold out shows at the iconic Sydney Opera House.

Sheffield pantomime legend Damian Williams returns as Nurse Nellie, following hilarious performances at the Lyceum Theatre over the last eight years, most recently as Widow Twankey in Aladdin. Damian has performed in a range of comedy roles, including playing Edna Turnblad in Hairspray, Luther Billis in South Pacific and Tommy Cooper in Being Tommy Cooper. Other theatre work includes My Dog's Got No Nose, Lock Up Your Daughters, Scrooge and Little Shop Of Horrors. He also recently appeared as Tommy Cooper in the short film The Last Laugh, written and directed by Paul Hendy.

Last year's pantomime was seen by over 46,000 people and tickets are already selling fast, so book now to guarantee a Christmas that's the fairest of them all!

Tickets for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs can be purchased from Sheffield Theatres' Box Office in-person, by phone on 0114 249 6000 or online at sheffieldtheatres.co.uk and are priced from £12.00 (A transaction fee of £1.50 (£1.00 to online bookings) applies to all bookings made at the Box Office excl. cash).
