The Accidental Festival is an opportunity for theatre makers, artists and companies from around the world to showcase and develop new and existing work at an exciting and established arts venue.

Developed by 2nd year students on The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama's Performance Arts Degree Programme, the festival is entirely managed, curated, organised and run by students.

This year, over 200 applications were received on Ideas Tap to perform across the weekend. The festival presents an eclectic mix of dance, puppetry, physical theatre, cabaret, film, live music, spoken word, new writing, live art, Q&As, international theatre and much more across four spaces in the Roundhouse. There will also be a variety of free performances presented throughout public spaces.

Many of the Festival's acts have already performed in fringe venues or are in the process of preparing their work for this summer's Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

This year, the Festival also welcomes Pace University, together with a number of international universities from the Prague Quadrennial SpaceLab who will be presenting a series of new and diverse, international work.
