WHAT
‘The Crucible' meets ‘Father Ted' in this historical black comedy!

It's 1589 and the dark walls of King James VI's Edinburgh are rife with gossip and uncertainty. The McCreddie family are in hiding, fleeing persecution in a town riddled with lies, fear.....and fake beards. Based on actual events during the 16th century and set against the backdrop of the North Berwick witch trials, come join the McCreddie family (and other characters based on real people) as they struggle to keep their heads in a society fuelled by panic, firewood and of course, plenty of whisky....

WHO
Anyone For A Witch Hunt? is a new comedy by budding playwright Adriana Polito. The show played to sell-out crowds at Glasgow's Fort Theatre in October 2009. This cast of eight are first-timers to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and excited about bringing the show back to life for a Fringe audience and in the very city where the story is set.

CAST
Maggie: Adriana Polito / Robert: David Ferns / Gracie: Kirsty Jamieson
Stevie: Pamela Cowan / Grandad: Colum Butler / Gregor: Andrew Davidson
Isobel: Nan Saville / Witch Hunter: MurRay Hall
