Experience the potent Toronto premiere of "Angel's Bone" at the Harbourfront Centre Theatre. This Pulitzer Prize-winning opera unearths the realities of human trafficking following two vulnerable youths trapped in exploitative bonds. With haunting melodies and poignant tales "Angel's Bone" navigates the abyss of despair spotlighting the resilience of survivors.
The contemporary opera uses a creative lens and collaboration to generate conversation and awareness around human trafficking of youth. Utilizing multimedia design elements and a unique community engagement approach that has brought together social workers survivors lawyers human rights activists and opera artists this is a once-in-a-lifetime cross-cultural event.

There will be a brief presentation/discussion before each performance, on-stage, while the audience enters, to help build context around the show and to share some of the work our community partners are doing towards anti-trafficking efforts in Toronto and Canada.
Post-Show Q&A: (20 - 30 minutes in length)
After each performance, representatives from our community partners as well as some artistic team members will be available to answer questions from the audience.
