Thrice Upon a Time

By Jacqueline Gosselin
Produced by DynamO Théâtre
February 11 - 13 | Recommended for Ages 5 and up

"Near perfection...a magnificent production that will entertain everyone." - CBC Radio Canada

High-energy acrobatics, live music and a rich soundscape come together in a modern-day fable. While stranded on a mysterious island, a young boy encounters an outlandish creature that sends him on a mission to defeat an evil witch. This high-flying production draws on familiar and foreign legends bearing witness to the courage that children need to have in an often-forbidding world.

Shoes of Sand
By Suzanne Lebeau
Translated by John Van Burek
Produced by Quest Theatre
March 11 - 13 | Recommended for Ages 8 and up

Quest Theatre bravely tackles time in an English premier of a critically acclaimed play. Élise and Léo are brother and sister; prisoners of a regimented life and unsure of what lies beyond their tight boundaries. One morning, thanks to an exquisite dream, time breaks down, new doors open and the world looks and tastes much different. This sensitive play reveals what its like to be a child in a world where fear and exploration collide.

Darwin the Dinosaur
Produced by CORBIAN Visual arts and Dance
April 8 - 10 | Recommended for Ages 7 and up

"A wonderful hour of fantasy that combines ancient, wordless storytelling with modern technology and music." Theatre Times

When a magical scientist creates Darwin the Dinosaur, he soon learns Darwin is much more than a pet - he is an untamed and primitive creature. Darwin must learn the value of good and bad, love and hate, friends and enemies. Imagination and innovation run wild in this visually magnificent production from New Orleans.
