Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival FRINGE FACTORY Opens Tomorrow 7/15

Performers from all over the world are arriving in Winnipeg and gearing up for the 22nd annual Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival, FRINGE FACTORY: MASS PRODUCING ORIGINALITY SINCE 1988.

The Fringe machines will start production on 12 days of unjuried and uncensored theatre on Wednesday, July 15 at noon, so grab your hard hat and head down to Head Office (a.k.a. Old Market Square) to take in some great entertainment.

The Factory opens at noon!

Wednesday, July 15 Old Market Square Noon - 6:00 pm Kids Fringe programming

6:00 - 9:00 pm Outdoor Stage lineup (bands and buskers)

9:00 pm - Official Kick-off of FRINGE AFTER DARK: The Night Shift with hosts Ken Rudderham and Tim Cranwill

Advance Tickets for all indoor Fringe shows, Frequent Fringers (10 plays for only $69) and Buddy Passes(14 shows for $95) are available by calling the MTC Box Office at 942-6537, in person at 174 Market Avenue or online at www.winnipegfringe.com.

Fringe programs are available for $5 at Liquor Marts andSafeway stores, and will go on sale (as of July 15) at Fringe Central, the Info Tent and at regular venues.
