Tits And Teeth Podcast Debuts Its First Season With All Star Canadian Lineup
A new podcast dedicated to Canadian musical theatre, Tits and Teeth Podcast, has hit the airwaves. Hosted by Canadian show girls Jennifer Thiessen and Kyla Musselman, the podcast brings dressing room banter to the outside world. The pair conceived the idea while performing in the 2017 North American Tour of Saturday Night Fever. "We decided it was important to open up conversations about the crazy, unconventional lifestyle that artists have. The highs and the lows, we wanted to know about it all from others out there, living and working in the musical theatre business like us" says Thiessen. "And what better way to get to the bottom of any issue than with a strong cocktail in hand?!" Light-hearted and funny, they chat to an all star line up of Canada's finest musical theatre workers, all whist sipping their guests' favourite cocktail!
Guests include Erica Peck, currently starring in the Stratford Festival production of The Rocky Horror Show, Krista Leis (Broadway's Jesus Christ Superstar), Sam DiGuiseppe (We Will Rock You 1st National Tour), Sarah Matton (Owner, 10 Talent Management), and Anthony MacPherson (Matilda The Musical 1st National Tour), with more to be announced. "Every single artist is inspiring, and has unique insight into this sometimes crazy business, " says Musselman. "Each person we interview has experienced the ups and downs that a career in the entertainment industry can bring". Together, the pair and their guests chat about everything from relationships, to the business side of the "biz", to the growth and development of Canadian theatre in the future. "Our hope is to inspire our audience, give a voice to the many amazing artists here in Canada, spark debate, and create interest in important issues within our community - with love and good humour," says the pair.
