Show One Productions, Toronto's leading presenter of critically acclaimed International Artists in music, dance and theatre, is thrilled to be presenting the return of Argentina's TANGO FIRE after a five year absence from the city.

Following the premiere of FLAMES OF DESIRE at London's Sadler Wells Theatre, the new, vibrant, award-winning company of Tango dancers and musicians is making its way back to North America to thrill audiences with its "sexual electricity at the twitch of a hip," London Evening Standard.

The TANGO FIRE company features Argentina's new generation of tango dancers, including five recent World Tango Champions, in a sensational program choreographed by Argentina's hot young choreographer German Cornejo. With his partner Gisela Galeassi, the duo is well-known for their appearance on Jennifer Lopez and Marc Antony's reality television show ¡Q'Viva!. In June 2012, they were JLo's special guest artists at her first-ever concert in Buenos Aires.

Since 2005, when the company was founded, TANGO FIRE stands alone in the plethora of Tango shows from Argentina. Each couple choreographs their own solos, with Cornejo refining the steps and choreographing the group numbers, allowing the couples creative freedom to create a showcase for their own unique talents. The ten dancers are accompanied on stage by Quarteto Fuego led by the sultry violin virtuosa Estefani Corsini, with vocals by Jesus Hidalgo.

As Tango's popularity continues to grow in mainstream culture, the TANGO FIRE company has cemented a world-wide reputation as the most innovative and exciting dancers of contemporary Tango in the world.

Show One Productions is presenting TANGO FIRE in Montreal at Place des Arts on November 6 and 7, in Toronto on November 8 and 9, and at Hamilton Place on November 10, 2013.

Tickets are on sale this Friday, July 19, at 10am for performances that include Friday, November 9 @ 8pm, Saturday, November 10 @ 3pm and 8pm. Tickets range from $49-$109 and can be purchased in person at the Winter Garden Theatre Box Office, by calling 1.855.622.2787 or online at www.ticketmaster.ca.
