Scarborough Players presents "Inherit the Wind" by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee, the third production of its 54th Season, beginning tonight, April 4 and continuing April 6, 11-13, 18-20 at 8 pm, and April 14 at 2 pm at Scarborough Village Theatre, 3600 Kingston Road at Markham Road, Scarborough.
This courtroom drama is a fictionalized account of the controversial 1925 Scopes Monkey Trial in which high school teacher John Scopes was tried for teaching evolution, in violation of Tennessee law. Since its first production in 1955 to its many revivals since, the critical compelling debate about intellectual freedom and the right to think and teach continues to resonate to this day.

"Inherit the Wind" will run tonight, April 4-6, 11-13, 18-20 at 8 pm, and April 14 at 2 pm. Tickets: Regular price $18 / Seniors & Students on Thursdays & Sunday $15.

Please join Scarborough Players and enjoy "Inherit the Wind", opening April 4 at Scarborough Village Theatre. For more information and to order tickets visit www.theatrescarborough.com or call 416 267-9292.
Audience Talk-Back after the Thursday, April 18 performance. The audience is invited to stay to meet cast and crew members, discuss the show, and ask questions.
