Pressgang Theatre Brings PRESSGANG STORYTELLING to Fringe 2016 Tonight
During The Fringe Pressgang Theatre (SERVED) is hosting twelve storytelling shows. For each show we pick a theme and invite five artists to tell a true story on that theme. Hosted and curated by Graham Isador (Playwright's unit at Soulpepper, RISK podcast) the events feature performances from the best in Toronto comedy, theatre, and music.
Featuring: Rhiannon Archer (LIFE RECORDS), Johnnie Walker (RED HEADED STEPCHILD). Rachel Blair (MAN WALKS INTO A BAR), Sandra Shamas (LAUNDRY TRILOGY), Marilla Wex (LOST AND FOUND), Tom Davis (MAHMOUD), Robin Black (MUCH). Erica Peck (WE WILL ROCK YOU), Faisal Butt (SIRUSXM TOP COMIC), Jess Bealieu (CRIMSON WAVE), Helder Brum (JFL 42), Jillian Welsh (SERVED), Sage Tyrtle (DNTO), and many more."If you want to take your love for performance out of the theatre, then folks, this is the event for you. Isador has put together a great event with a casual attitude and loyal following. I'm sold, and frankly, I can't wait for the next one." - The Theatre Reader
